What do we need to bring?
The villas are fully self-contained. All cooking, bedding and bathroom supplies are provided. There is fully equiped BBQ. the rooms contain all your glasses, cutlery and crockery. Each is provided with wood for the fire, reverse cycle aircon, electric blankets and extra pillows.
What is in the breakfast baskets?
The Hearty Breakfast starts with cereal, juice, followed by bacon, eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes. Bread and local produced jams round out the perfect start to a day. The basket will be delivered to your room on arrival. If you have special dietary requirements please let us know at least 24 hours in advance of arrival.
Where can I go for meals?
There are cafés and restaurants in Stanthorpe just 2 to 5 minutes drive. Please check with us for opening times. We are happy to make advance reservations for you. Reservations are nearly always needed in peak season. Take-Away menus from a variety of restaurants will be included in your room information package. We also offer a range of pre-cooked meals ready for heating in your villa. Check the In-room Menu page for details.
Do you cater for children and pets?
The studios have been set up to accommodate just one couple in each unit. However, babies in portacots are welcome.
The two bedroom family unit is available and can accommodate four to six persons.
Because of the constant presence of native wildlife, the property is not suitable for family pets.
How will you confirm my reservation?
All reservations are confirmed on the day of receipt of the booking fee by email or fax, if you prefer.
Can my reservation remain a surprise to my partner?
You may wish to surprise your partner for a special occasion or celebration. Please advise us of where to discreetly send confirmation. Let us know if we can help to make the surprise special. You may also like us to order flowers or a cake to be in your unit upon arrival. Please let us know how we can help. Check the "Rates & Packages" page for our Celebration package and other extras.
How serious are you about non-smoking inside?
All units are strictly non-smoking. Smoking outside is permitted but please remember that the unit is situated in a natural bush setting and care needs to be taken. Please dispose of butts thoughtfully, without endangering the environment.
How much deposit is required?
One night tariff or a flat $200 deposit is required via Visa, Mastercard at time of booking or a cheque received within seven days.
What is your cancellation policy?
All bookings are accepted in good faith and bookings will be held after clients supply credit card details or complete a deposit (minimum one night tariff). Should you fail to provide your deposit within seven days of your booking, your booking may be released.
Full refund of deposit will be given for thirty days or more notice of cancellation; no refund of deposit if cancellation is within thirty days of stay, unless the villa is re-let.
Can I purchase a gift certificate for someone else?
A Gift Certificate is available to be sent out to any person you nominate. They cost no more than the standard charges on the Rates and Packages page. Payment in full is required before we can issue the Gift Certificate. Please note the certificate is valid for the Rate or Package specified at the time of purchase and is not further transferable.
What should we bring with us?
You may wish to bring your favorite DVDs and CDs or you can use your Ipod /mp3 player to make the best use of the stereo system. We have a selection of movies on DVD available for guests at no additional cost.
Should you wish to self-cater there is a Woolworths supermarket on the main road heading into Stanthorpe and a Super IGA in Davadi Street.
Are there laundry facilities?
There is a shared laundry complete with dryer adjacent to the reception area. Iron and ironing board are standard in each unit. Villa 3 has an attached fully equipped laundry for the guests allocated to that villa.
Do you have things for children to do?
We have a selection of board games, Cluedo, Scrabble and Monopoly. The TV in each room is a LCD unit suitable for connecting to your own game console.
For outdoor activities there is open space to play soccer etc. Also we have an area for playing Bolle (Bocce) which is a great family game. A list of children friendly activities and venues is available from reception.
Air Conditioning
For your ultimate comfort and to allow the A/C unit tp work most effectively we recommend a minimum temperature of 23 degrees in summer and a maximum of 24 degrees in winter. Please do not use the A/C when the wood heater is operating.
